Fall
I can't believe that you did it
I can't believe that I said it
But, empathy hides, hides in my mind
Empathy hides from me
And sometimes I'd wish you were dead
so I could know you again
But, empathy hides, hides in my mind
Empathy hides from me
I watched you fall
Deep in the depths of depression
So I thought I'd give you a lesson
On how to survive, how you could rise like me
But, now I'm the one who feels dead
Erase every word that I said
Empathy finds, comes clear in my mind
Empathy come find me
Walk down to the scene of the crashes
See our lives reduced to ashes
You wanna find out why we've been laughing
You're gonna find out
A friend with a reliably fine musical taste posted this album on FB and I wasn't disappointed. Love the guitar sound and the passionate vocals (melodic enough to not pass as screamo or whatever). Punk rock spirit yet with a lot of dynamics (definitely a yes to the Dischord reference) and compact songs that won't leave your head for a long time. Many many
great tunes on here but for the moment USMA and Lay Low have to be my favorites! Great band, very happy to have found them! perpendikel
One of the most well-respected straight-edge hardcore bands ever to come out of the DC scene. Connor is quite a talented hardcore musician, playing vocals for Protester, playing drums for DC crossover thrashers Red Death, and also playing very awesome on guitar for these guys from Line of Sight. They've also put out a 7-inch EP on Youngblood Records called Dissent that I've been wanting to get my hands on so bad, in case you guys haven't heard. tjjaxx4625
